How To Measure Your Box Beams

You may give us either the inside or outside dimensions of the box beam covers you need. 

Inside Dimensions: These are the dimensions (measurements) of the object you want covered by the box beam. You will need to measure the height and depth (width) in inches, and the length in feet.

Outside Dimensions: These are the actual dimensions (measurements) of the box beam cover you need. If you choose to give us the outside dimensions, please keep in mind the following:

• Our box beam covers are 3/4" thick. You will need to add that to your measurements.
• Please add an additional 1/8" of dead space between the object you are covering and the box beam cover. This additional 1/8" allows for any contracting or shrinking of the beam cover due to heat. If you do not allow for this, there is a potential that, if the beam cover shrinks without dead space, the cover could crack or break as it continually tightens around the object it is covering.
